MTA Home Scan®
The MTA Home Scan® is THE portable measuring device for non-destructive leak and moisture detection in house- installations. The handy device is equipped with highly sensitive integrated measuring electronics, an intuitive touchscreen, and a powerful battery (up to 8 hours of continuous operation), enabling pinpoint detection without charging interruptions.
Operating Principle
A low-current field is generated for the MTA Home Scan® electronics and evaluated in real time on the device. In addition to the MTA Home Scan®, only a correctly applied counter electrode and sufficient water to moisten the inspected surface is required.
Precise Real Time Measurements
The integrated software of the MTA Home Scan® enables direct evaluation and visualization of measurement data on the high-resolution touchscreen. The smallest changes in moisture caused by leaks, already register as clearly distinguishible curve peaks in the system – an ideal tool for leak detectors, plumbers and contractors.

The base pack includes besides the MTA Home Scan® an adapter for connecting the counter electrode to aerators (wash basin faucets), various probes for spot and area measurements (multiprobe, small area probe), and the MTA LeakMop – a special probe for tiles and smooth surfaces with a specially developed conductive fleece sleeve.
