The performance of the eCityJet is in no way inferior to that of diesel-driven machines.\u00a0The machine is ideally suited for unblocking pipes up to 350 mm. With fully charged\u00a0batteries, and on an average working day you can operate the eCityJet for a full day\u00a0without charging between jobs. However, most customers work for several days without\u00a0recharging in between.<\/p>\n

Zero emissions<\/h3>\n

The fully electric CityJet uses state-of-the-art technology and features a strong electric\u00a0motor powered by an extremely efficient battery pack. This means the machine produces\u00a0zero emissions, which makes the eCityJet ideally suited for use in city centres where strict\u00a0emission requirements apply and in areas that are completely or partially enclosed. The\u00a0eCityJet has all the features of a conventional diesel-driven machine and is only\u00a0marginally heavier. The empty machine weighs approximately 750 kgs. The machine is\u00a0comparable in size to the diesel-powered CityJet, making it suitable for most vans (such\u00a0as a Mercedes Vito or Sprinter or a Ford Transit).<\/p>\n

Rechargeable battery pack\"\"<\/h4>\n

The eCityJet is powered by six rechargeable 5,7 kWh Li-ion batteries that can be charged using regular mains power from an ordinary wall socket. A typical charge takes approximately six hours to complete. On a single full charge, the machine can complete a full day of jetting without charging between jobs, with operators able to top up the charge during the day for longer flushing.<\/p>\n
